16th Annual Swanson Horrigan Softball Tournament

The sixteenth annual Swanson Horrigan Memorial slowpitch softball tournament will be played this weekend, July 13-15, in Washington Depot at the Ted Alex field complex behind the Washington Primary School.

The tournament motto is “You play for the love of the game … we play for the love of the boys.” The event is played in memory of former Shepaug students, brothers Chris and Brian Swanson, and Tyler Horrigan, and all proceeds benefit Shepaug High School scholarship funds developed in the boys’ memories—the Chris and Brian Swanson Technology Award and the Tyler Horrigan Scholar—Athlete Award.
