Event Details
Students and their families are invited to join Farmer Patrick on a tour of Waldingfield Farm to learn how food and farming affect our lives and the world around us. He will demonstrate how his team plants and harvests organic vegetables, and how his farm is part of creating a sustainable, healthy community. Participants will gather plant materials from the farm to create their very own sunlight print, also known as cyanotype. The cyanotyping process uses the simplest ingredients–sunlight and shadow–to create beautiful, unique art that celebrates nature. Although families are invited to enjoy this program, students are welcome to get dropped off.
