Art @the Park Exhibit

The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens is thrilled to announce the opening of a joint art exhibit featuring artists Karen Bonanno and Heather Scofield. Bonanno, a resident of both New York and Litchfield County, specializes in oil paintings and often depicts the figure in an attempt to capture mood rather than likeness. Scofield, who resides in Kent, CT, is inspired by the beauty of nature, painting landscapes that have been described as “vibrating with color and movement.”

The pair will have their works on display starting on February 15, 2022 through March 28, 2022. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, February 26th from 2 – 5pm.

The park is open most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11-3pm with some weekend hours. Showings are available by appointment. To schedule an appointment, please email [email protected].
