Many indigenous communities recognize the importance and interconnectedness of all living beings. Join Gerri Griswold for an engaging and informative program on one of the most misunderstood beings: bats. Gerri Griswold is Director of Administration and Development at The White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield, Connecticut.
She has handled bats for thirty-one years as a wildlife rehabilitator and educator and is licensed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the United States Department of Agriculture to keep and exhibit non releasable bats for education. You may even get a chance to meet a live bat ambassador!
