Children’s Book Signing with Marilyn Singer

Children’s author Marilyn Singer will sign copies of her new books Wild in the Streets: 20 Poems of City Animals (Words & Pictures, $17.95) and Who Named Their Pony Macaroni?: Poems About White House Pets (Disney-Hyperion, $17.99) at The Hickory Stick Bookshop on Saturday, November 30^th at 2pm as part of the bookshop’s Small Business Saturday celebrations. This beautifully illustrated book pairs poetry with nonfiction, telling the fascinating stories of the animals who have found homes in our city landscapes across the world, from the pythons traveling Singapore’s sewers to the monkeys living in India’s temples.
