We are delighted to announce that Timothy McDowell will be in the Gallery on Friday, September 6 at 10:00am to present
“The importance of the intuitive dialogue between the artist and the process and how reinvention is a necessary component for creativity”
Timothy McDowell is a painter and professor of printmaking and drawing at Connecticut College in New London, CT. His most recent work explores dreamscapes in oils and mixed media. Historically, Timothy has embraced working in various materials, including encaustic, distemper, cyanotype, and intaglio etchings. His work is included in the Metropolitan Museum of Art collection and is represented by the Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta, GA.
