3rd Annual Dog Day in New Preston

This is an annual Village event with lots of shops participating this year. Dog Day in New Preston is a benefit event to raise funds for the Animal Welfare Society of New Milford.

Photoshoots, lots of treats, doginalia you didn’t even know your dog needed. Buy generously!

2020 CALENDAR PHOTO SHOOT

Once again, Dana is hosting a professional portrait photographer on the porch at DK SCHULMAN DESIGN.

A $35 contribution gets your beautiful friend into the 2020 Calendar, along with a full-sized print portrait of your dog from the shoot. All proceeds go to Animal Welfare Society!

LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE

Commission a caricature of your dog painted on a washi paper lantern shade by artist CHRIS PARKER. Chris can use the portrait from the calendar shoot or any other image you supply.
A contribution of $90. All proceeds go to Animal Welfare Society.

AGILITY DEMONSTRATION

Professional dog trainer (and Animal Welfare Society alum) BRONAGH DALY of Five by Five Canine will be on hand to give demonstrations in Control Unleashed and fun Agility Training.
Sign up for lessons today and 20% of your first lesson will be donated to Animal Welfare Society.

Privet Lives is offering wonderful Mr. Dog treats — peanut butter and bacon — made by Maison de Pawz. (Gluten and grain free. Vegan? Not so sure.)

Join Biloxi Bones creator (and lover of all four-legged creatures) Margaret Reed at The Smithy. Bring your pooch and Margaret will share samples of her all natural healthy treats.
20% of proceeds will be donated to Animal Welfare Society.

MEET BEAU
BEAU is a 13-year-old Pom adopted by Marty (NPKG) from the Animal Welfare Society of New Milford in February. Beau helps raise chickens and sells their eggs year-round at New Preston Kitchen Goods, with 100% of proceeds going to Animal Welfare Society. Since 2009, NPKG has donated more than $500 each year in egg sales. But on Dog Day Marty will be donating 10% of ALL sales in honor of Beau. Buy Generously!

FAMOUS FLOOD DOG BISCUITS!
Chef Whitney Flood’s liver and oat organic dog biscuits are a huge hit every year at this event. All proceeds will be donated to Animal Welfare Society, so EAT UP! (And take some home.)
