“Drawn to Love” is a juried members exhibition featuring variations in drawing; ink, ink wash, watercolor, crayon and soft and oil pastels.
“Drawing is the simplest most economical, most direct form of expression. We invite you to make work for an exhibition of drawings on a theme of Love. It can start with a glance, a hunch, a small idea and we are drawn into a relationship. It could be a thimble, or a sapling, a cup and saucer, or a field of stars. It could be the face of someone near and dear. It could be you. What are you looking at or what’s looking at you?”
The show is on display at the gallery from July 30 through August 28 and will be curated by Pamela Sztybel and Hugh O’Donnell.
