Learn how to set up and use a garden journal to capture the ever-changing beauty in your garden, as well as other natural habitats you may visit throughout the year. Class demonstrations will provide plenty of drawing and watercolor tips both inside and outside in the garden. Explore the many interesting botanical choices that the spring Hollister House Garden provides!
The garden journaling workshops at Hollister House Garden are taught by Betsy Rogers-Knox. Betsy received a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from NYBG in 2006. Her work has been widely exhibited in the United States and at the Royal Horticultural Botanical Art Show in London where she was awarded the Silver Gilt Award.
Open to all skill levels. Participants must bring their own lunch. Course fee includes a Stillman & Birn journal and pen. All other required items are included in the Garden Journaling Materials List.
Advanced reservations are required for, as capacity is limited. Hollister House will follow all state and local guidelines for Covid-19 at our events.
