All aboard! This summer’s “Around the World Adventure” program will take children from grade K & up on a grand adventure.
Gunn Memorial Library has teamed up with Minor Memorial Library in Roxbury and Burnham Library in Bridgewater to offer the Tri-Town Summer Reading Challenge again this year! This challenge encourages children to spend quality time reading books alone, with an adult, or alongside a family member, friend, or pet.

Washington Destination: Gunn Junior Library

Upon check-in, children will receive an airplane-themed envelope filled with travel adventure plans and a passport. This passport records the time spent reading, being read to, or listening to books. As they complete each challenge, they earn tickets which can be used to win prizes.
For a touch of adventure, the Airport Inspection station lets children navigate through a security walk-through, then onto the photo booth for their passport photo.
Enjoy flight-themed crafts, games, and snacks while you search for your next great read for our summer challenges. Fill your travel bag with library books, movies, or audiobooks.
