Marsh Bird Survey Training

BECOME A CITIZEN SCIENTIST IN SEARCH FOR MARSH BIRDS

“Ker-wee”, “tick-it”, “kick-er”! Help us identify whinnies and grunts of secretive marsh birds. Citizen scientists can expect to learn how to follow scientific protocols, use special equipment, identify marsh birds by sight and sound, and accurately report data. People of all ages and experience levels are invited to attend the training in order to become involved in the project, which entails three field surveys beginning before sunrise May-June.
