Meet Master Potter Matin Malikzada

Join us in welcoming Matin Malikzada to Privet House. A seventh-generation Afghan master potter, Matin is internationally recognized for his technical skill and elegant designs. A native of Istalif, Afghanistan, Matin was forced to flee following the Taliban takeover. Matin and his family have resettled in Northwest Connecticut, and despite the challenges of refugee status, Matin is proud to continue the artisanal legacy of his native village, and is energized by the opportunities that lie ahead. This will be our first gathering in two years. We’re excited for you to join us for some Prosecco and refreshments as we celebrate this very special event.
