Join local poet Sydney Eddison as she reads excerpts from her latest collection, The Sacred Ground Of Home: Poems From A Country Life, at the Hickory Stick Bookshop in Washington, CT on Sunday, September 25th at 2 PM.

The author of five books of poetry and an avid gardener, Sydney Eddison lives in a yellow farmhouse surrounded by a 2 ½ garden of her own creation in Newtown. Her articles have appeared in publications such as Fine Gardening and Horticulture, and she is the award-winning author of seven books on gardening including Gardening For A Lifetime, A Passion For Daylilies, and A Patchwork Garden.
