Camp Week 1 (July 2-July 6 no camp on July 4) Pirate Booty

Sail the ocean blue and explore lands far away in search of a hidden treasure.  Campers will build cork pirate boats to race down the Bantam River and create wave bottles full of ocean treasures-perhaps even a shark or two!  Campers will follow the Rumsey Treasure Map navigating their way through campus to discover hidden gems.  Exploding treasure chests will reveal the pirate booty of the day.  Campers will create their own pirate catapult and cannon ball toss that is sure to be a camp favorite!  We will even “walk the diving board plank” to dive for pennies at Shepaug School’s swimming pool.  Each camper will look the part with their eye patch, bandana and pirate hat.  Pirates will sale off the campus one day to Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT to ride the Pirate Ship and explore the many water adventures.

3-5 Year Old Half-Day Program* $295/wk ($236 July 2-6, no camp July 4) (M – F 9am – 1pm)

3-5 Year Old Extended Day Program* $350/wk ($280 July 2-6) (M, W, F 9am – 4pm & T, TH 9am – 1pm) * Child must be toilet trained

6-7 Year Old Program $405/wk ($324 July 2-6) (M – F 9am – 4pm)

8-10 Year Old Program $405/wk ($324 July 2-6) (M – F 9am – 4pm)
