The Torrington-based ensembles Chorus Angelicus & Gaudeamus join forces with several instrumentalists that have been constant collaborators in the past. A celebration of music inspired by, and commissioned for Chorus Angelicus & Gaudeamus through the last ten years. From the haunting Irish sounds of Andrew Thomson’s now classic Coslorgai, to the hot-selling The Rose by Norwegian composer/pianist Ola Gjeilo, our singers of all ages will take you on a trip around the world. An un-missable event to let the soul revel in the depth of vocal splendor! The Sunday concert in Washington includes a pre-concert lecture with Artistic Director Gabriel Löfvall and post-concert reception.
