Gardens and landscapes offer many photographic opportunities for knowledgeable users of smartphone and tablet cameras. This detailed class, taught by Thad Kubis, will begin with an overview of basic systems and functions and will address a range of techniques including close-up, depth of field, lighting, landscape and image composition. Following this review participants will practice their new skills in specific situations in the garden. The session concludes with a review and discussion of some of the day’s actual images.
