Event Details

Two sessions: Sunday, Mar 31 & Apr 7, 12pm to 2pm

Never fear, Astrid is here! Does the very thought of cutting up your knitting make you break out in hives? Would you love to try steeking but don’t want to commit the time and yarn to an entire sweater before attempting this sorcery?

Take a deep breath, grab your sharpest, smallest scissors and jump in with this quick project. A great introduction to steeking, this mug cozy is a good way to practice colorwork and use up leftover worsted weight yarn. The sample is knit in Green Mountain Spinnery Mountain Mohair, but any worsted weight yarn will work.
