Sunday, March 7, 12:00 – 4:00pm, 1-hour time slots

Are you and your family experiencing a bit of cabin fever? Throughout the winter, the IAIS Education Department is offering private craft workshops on Sunday afternoons. Sign up for a time slot with your family and friends. Express your creativity while learning about the world around you and connecting with a culture that has thousands of years of history in the area. Weaving can be done with a wide array of materials, from wood splints and grasses used to make baskets, to cotton and wool to make fabric and textiles. In this week’s workshop intended for beginners, join IAIS educators for a workshop in which participants will use yarn to weave a necklace, bracelet or colorfully decorated textile.

Pre-registration is required. Please visit our website at www.iaismuseum.org to reserve a space through Eventbrite. Questions? Call (860) 868-0518 or email [email protected] . Cost of participation, including materials: $15 for Non-Members, $10 for Members
