The New Preston Winter Walk

ANNOUNCING THE NEW PRESTON WINTER WALK!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH
1:00 TO 4:00 PM

New Preston Village

Festivities abound at the Village’s annual winter celebration to benefit the Warren/Washington Food Bank. There will be special happenings at several shops with holiday drinks and bites offered throughout the village. The shop windows will all be lit and lively, NP style. Strolling musicians will keep the Saturday event spirited. Even Santa makes an appearance for the little ones!

Here is the event lineup:

DK SCHULMAN hosts Riley Lumbra, creative mixologist for a holiday cocktail tasting. Dana will be keeping tabs on all the activity.

SWEEETS welcomes Santa who will be checking lists and handing out candy canes for the little ones, from 2:00 – 3:00 on the porch.

PRIVET LIVES hosts Lambertson Truex this season with John Truex doing complimentary on-site personal monogramming for all LT small leather goods. It’s About the Little Things.

PRIVET HOUSE sets the holiday table like no one else with a curated collection of dishware, linens, and glasses. Come be inspired for your big gathering and toast the season with Suzanne and Richard.

NEW PRESTON KITCHEN GOODS has created a Christmas shop within shop, filled with the most curious, unusual, and beautiful tree ornaments. Ask Marty and Chad for their favorites while tasting holiday cookies, recipes available.

SEITZ & CO. hosts author and acclaimed NYC chef, Amy Chaplin, who will be signing copies of her new book “Whole Food Cooking Every Day” as well as answering questions about plant based cooking. Joanna and Amanda will craft recipes from the book for a healthy holiday tasting.

PERGOLA presents a Preserved Holiday with tablescapes of natural and preserved botanicals. David and Peter will offer their Winter Walk egg nog with seasonal scones.

DAWN HILL hosts celebrated potter Frances Palmer for an afternoon of flower arranging in her sought-after vases. Paulette and John are serving traditional Swedish holiday treats with pink champagne.

NINE MAIN CAFÉ will be rolling out Whit’s hot doughnut holes with Julie’s specially-sauced cider. A creative collaboration from behind the counter.

THE SMITHY always keeps things LOCAL with Luis and Robert from New Preston’s own Arcadia’s Kitchen, cooking and tasting their favorite winter dish, Caldo Gallego, among other specialties. Sip on a warm holiday drink afterward.

SALVATORE ANTHONY HAIR STUDIO will be pouring Prosecco on the porch of Sal’s new village location just above The Smithy. Go check out the dazzling new digs.

THE OWL WINE BAR will have the fire roaring and wine pouring. John always finds a perfect way to wind up the winter walk.

New Preston’s Winter Walk strolling musicians are led by Bentley Lewis with vocalist Dina DiMarco and Niles Spaulding on bass for sounds of the holiday.

A percentage of sales from the afternoon will be donated by the New Preston Village Merchants Collective to the Warren/Washington Food Bank for their holiday meals. Shop more so we can donate more!
