Join celebrated garden writer Page Dickey as she shares her story of leaving behind Duck Hill, her beloved garden of 34 years and finding her next chapter. In this beautiful book, written with humor and elegance, Page describes finding a new home in northwester Connecticut and falling in love with its land. She reflects on what it means for a gardener to walk away and start again. Uprooted is a wonderful story about transitions and the satisfaction and joy that new horizons can bring.

Page Dickey is a garden writer, lecturer and designer. She is the author of eight books including the award-winning Breaking Ground:Portraits of Ten Garden Designers. She has written on gardening and garden design over the years for House & Garden, House Beautiful, Horticulture, Elle Décor, Fine Gardening, and Garden Design. Page is on the board of the Garden Conservancy, Stonecrop Garden and Hollister House Garden.
