“Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice” Screening and Discussion

Warrior Lawyers is a documentary that uses the personal and professional stories of Native American attorneys, Tribal Judges, and their colleagues to examine the major historical, governmental, legal, and social justice issues shaping Tribal Nations today. The film also explores how traditional Indigenous values and cultural practices can be utilized to confront and heal the challenges present in contemporary Indigenous Communities. IAIS and the Universalist Church of West Hartford have partnered together to present this documentary screening, followed by a panel discussion with legal professionals and members of local Native American communities.
