Join us on June 4th from 5:30 – 8:00 pm as we Celebrate our Town! Live Music – Games – Outdoor Events in the Depot.
The Community Block Party will be a great night of family fun! Bring a picnic or grab takeout from any one of our local restaurants and enjoy a Jazz for Juniors concert at Town Hall Front Lawn from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Jazz for Juniors will present “A Survey of a Century of Music Hits and Styles” with songs from Connie Francis, Duke Ellington, Nancy Sinatra, The Ventures, Django Reinhardt, Sam Cooke, Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac, Dave Brubeck, The Byrds, Etta James and a dash of Cajun, Irish and even a song from The Godfather.
Additionally, come by for a Community Sidewalk Mural by ASAP! CT, s’mores at Judy Black Memorial Park & Gardens, an outdoor classroom with strider bikes for kids by WMS, a special scavenger hunt by The Matthews Group, and more! View the complete line up of happenings below:
