Washington Friends of Music New Year’s Day Concert & Party

The WFM New Year’s Day Concert is back on January 1st at 4pm!

Enjoy an exquisite program celebrating the 10th anniversary of WFM, then mingle with the musicians at the festive post-concert reception with French bubbly and delectable hors d’oeuvres.

NEW: The concert and the party will be held at The Frederick Gunn School’s Thomas S. Perakos Arts and Community Center in Washington, CT, 22 Kirby Road.

Artistic Director and world-class cellist Wendy Sutter created a superb program featuring Vivaldi, Torelli, and Telemann. Twelve renowned artists, including from the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, with their principal trumpet David Krauss and their principal Violist Milan Milisavljevic, are performing with trumpet, four violins, two violas, two cellos, guitar, double bass, and harpsichord.

Admission includes the concert and the party, $40 in advance or $45 at the door (cash or check only), based on availability. Children and students are admitted free of charge.
