Music makes the world a happier place! We are happy to announce that the Washington Friends of Music Summer Concert Festival with The New Baroque Soloists is scheduled for August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th at 5:30pm in the Historic Meeting House at the Green, First Congregational Church.
The New Baroque Soloists, world-class musicians from New York and Boston led by Artistic Director Douglas Myers, are performing on trumpet, oboe, strings and basso continuo an uplifting program by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Telemann, and others. All tickets are held at the door. Doors open at 5:00pm, concerts start at 5:30pm and are approximately 1 hour 30 min long.
