Would you have what it takes to thrive in the New England winters without twenty-first century technology? Perhaps you’ve wondered how Native Americans were able to start a fire in the snow, find food, or make shelter. This year, there will be a special focus on foraging, processing and storing available food sources during the winter. Come “chill” with Wigwam Escape Creative Director and Museum Educator Griffin Kalin for an interactive and informative outdoor program, appropriate for all ages. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Please visit www.iaismuseum.org to register through Eventbrite. Questions? Please call (860) 868-0518 or email [email protected]. Price of participation: $15 for Non-Members and $5 for Members.
