GEOMETRY
Monday, June 29–Friday, July 3 9–10:30 AM
6th, 7th, and 8th graders
Measuring The World Around You Through Formulas: Area, Surface Area & Space Figures. This course will cover geometric formulas and how to apply them to figures and use them for problem-solving. Instructor: Caitlin

YOGA AND MINDFULNESS PRACTICES
Monday, June 29–Friday, July 3 11 AM–12:30 PM
Rising 3rd – 5th graders novice to guru!
In this course, you will discover what it means to establish balance on and off the mat, create strength, and build endurance to cultivate empathy and compassion towards yourself and others. Just bring yourself, a willingness to try, and a smile. Materials Needed: A space to practice free from distractions and a mat or a towel. Instructor: Caitlin

This course will cover: Solving quadratic equations by graphing, factoring, and using the quadratic formula in order to solve real-world problems. Instructor: Caitlin

CREATIVE EXPRESSION THROUGH WRITING:
Monday, July 6–Friday, July 10 10:30 AM–12 PM
Rising 6 through 9th graders who enjoy writing and want to practice and enhance their craft
This course explores journaling, brainstorming, and writers workshop exercises to enhance and hone creative writing skills. Instructor: Kylie

DATA ANALYSIS

Rising 6th – 8th graders
This course introduces the fundamentals of interpreting and creating graphs for math and science lab courses. Instructor: Melissa

PRE-ALGEBRA REVIEW

This course looks at exploring Slope (3 ways), Slope -intercept form, and graphing on the coordinate plane. Instructor: Nora

This course explores variables, algebraic expressions and integers. Instructor: Melissa

VINEYARDAPP CAMP

Rising 7th – high school prerequisite : familiarity with Algebra 1
This course will help students develop or hone their coding skills and learn the process of building their own app on the app store! This course is perfect for those who are interested in web design, coding, app development, and entrepreneurship. *This course is taught by instructors from top tech companies. *This course will run with a minimum of 3 students.

WORKING WITH FRACTIONS
Monday, July 6–Friday, July 10 10–11:30 AM
4th, 5th, 6th graders
This course will cover an introduction to fractions as parts of a whole, and explore equivalent fractions, mixed numbers, and improper fractions. Instructor: Jane

WORKING WITH DECIMALS

This course will cover operations with decimals and converting decimals to fractions. Instructor: Jane
