The Loft Gallery at The Smithy will be featuring a collection of abstracts by artist Katie Re Scheidt while the Washington Art Association will be showing off the fabulous artwork of their members. The gallery at Byrde + the b will have the photography of Woody Campbell and the paintings of Steven Miller on display. And, the Gunn Library Stairwell Gallery will be featuring the mixed media works of local CT artist Lori Baker.

Take some time for yourself and enjoy a day at the spa with your sweetheart. Spend some time celebrating the splendor of nature and outdoors at the Winter Festival on February 15th. Sponsored by the Washington Parks and Recreation Commission, this fun winter event will feature guided snowshoe walks and instruction from the Sportsmen’s of Litchfield. Warm up by the fireplace and indulge in some delicious s’mores and hot cocoa.
14. Valentines on ice
Channel your inner Sonja Henie or do a pax de deux with your soulmate – on ice. Try a turn on the ice at The Gunnery’s Linden Rink. Every Sunday in the winter, the Gunnery opens up their rink and invites the public for a family skate.
