Summer is a time to relax and unwind, and what better way to enjoy this season than with beautiful views, good company, and a glass of wine in hand. We invite you to take a look at the fabulous local vineyards and distilleries that we are lucky to have here in Litchfield Hills and their upcoming events happening this summer. We hope you get a chance to try a glass of merlot, rose, or chardonnay – and enjoy sweet summertime here in Litchfield County!

Hopkins Vineyard

Hopkins Vineyard produces award-winning whites, reds, and sparkling wines and grows 11 varieties of grapes in a spectacular setting overlooking Lake Waramaug. Visit Hopkins Vineyard to enjoy wine flights, small bites, live music, and beautiful views. Cheese platters, various snacks, and charcuterie options are available for purchase. Spring Hill Vineyards

Enjoy house wines for sale by the glass or bottle and a selection of snacks in Spring Hill Vineyards’ unique setting with site-specific artworks including the immersive Bee Brook Grotto nested at the top of the repurposed Spring Hill Silo. Wine tastings take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 5pm from Memorial Day through Columbus Day.

Haight-Brown Vineyard is Connecticut’s oldest winery. Located in picturesque Litchfield, Connecticut, the vineyard first opened its doors in 1975 and has since become a local landmark.
