Join us for an epic 7.8 mile loop of picturesque Lake Waramaug – this annual winter tradition attracts hundreds of area runners. Powered by a team of more than 50 volunteers, we’re committed to delivering a fantastic experience for all participants and to raising both awareness and money for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We’ve donated over $24,000 to date and we’re running towards our next milestone of surpassing $40,000 in total donations.
Guiding Eyes for the Blind is an organization that trains guide dogs to partner with blind or visually impaired people. The Run has raised over $24,000 for Guiding Eyes for the Blind since 2018. Trainers and their guide dogs in training attend the race to meet and support the runners.
Get your bib and stick around! Friday, February 23rd from 1-7 PM we’ll be at Hopkins Vineyard for our pre-race open house. There will be TrailHeads gear and giveaways too! Representatives and service dogs from Guiding Eyes for the Blind will be there from 4-6 PM. And, of course, Hopkins award winning wines will be available by the glass or the bottle, as well as flight boards at the downstairs wine bar, and Kent Falls Brewery Beers. Join us for a fun kick-off to race weekend!
