Event Details

Shepaug Dramatics brings Agatha Christie’s The Stranger, to the stage Friday, March 23rd at 7PM and Saturday, March 24th at 8PM. “A small cast of six students is preparing to offer a delightfully suspenseful evening of psychological intrigue” says Kate Eddy, Director and Shepaug Valley School educator. “Mystery, love, and the threat — or promise — of murder are integral elements of the suspense.” Agatha Christie wrote this play some years before going to work with Frank Vosper on Love From A Stranger, a stage adaptation of the same story.

The all student cast includes veterans of the Shepaug stage: Tegan Anderson ‘19, Thomas Bachelier ‘19, Wilson King ‘19, and Jack Roush ‘18 alongside newcomers Alvin Hermans ‘18 and Kaylee Martinez ‘21.

Shepaug Dramatics was recently recognized with thirteen nominations at the 14th Annual Halo Awards which recognize excellence in High School theatre. “We were thrilled to see many of our students recognized for their outstanding efforts on stage” says Eddy.

Tickets can be purchased through the Box Office by calling 860-717-2444 or in person at the door.
