Annual Maple Sugar Festival

Looking for a sweet end to the winter months? As the days get warmer, but the night s remain cold, it’s just the right condition for maple sugaring!  Join IAIS staff, along with Jeff and Judy Kalin, of Primitive Technology, Inc., for an event celebrating the gift of Maple Sugar. The Kalins will demonstrate the traditional technique of collecting sap and boiling it down to syrup.  Enjoy pancakes made by IAIS staff, local maple syrup, coffee and orange juice while learning about the importance of maple syrup to local Native American cultures,

Pancake Brunch: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Children’s Activities: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm

Maple Syrup Demonstration: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Admission Prices: $10 Adults; $8 Seniors; $6 Children; IAIS Members Free $5 for pancake brunch
