Event Details
Learning the connection between what we eat and how we feel empowers us to make healthy choices. Middle school traditionally comes with stress, uncertainty, and change for students and this year has plenty of all three. Food Fuel teaches kids to take back some control with simple and delicious snacks that fuel their bodies. In each class, we will prepare recipes while learning how the various foods affect the functions in your body and how that impacts cognitive and physical performance. At the end of the three workshops, you will have several recipes to draw from whenever you need a lift.
