Saturday, May 8th from 12:00pm – 4:00pm, 1-hour time blocks
Looking for a unique gift to show appreciation for a special Mother in your life? For thousands of years, many Native peoples decorated clothing and items with materials found in nature, such as shell, stones, seeds and porcupine quills. In more recent centuries, multi-colored glass beads have become a favorite alternative. Join IAIS Education Department staff for a small group, beading workshop appropriate for a variety of age levels and experiences. Sign up for a time slot with your family or friends and bring home a hand-made jewelry project.
Pre-registration is required and space per time slot is limited. Please visit our website to reserve a space through Eventbrite. Questions? Please call (860) 868-0518 or email [email protected]. Price of Participation, including materials: $15 for Non-Members, $10 for Members.
