Celebration of Young Photographers

Celebration of Young Photographers will be held on Sunday, November 17th from 2-4pm at Bryan Memorial Town Hall in Washington Depot. The exhibition will then move to The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens for a two-week extended viewing. The top four photographers will be recognized for their outstanding work and will receive the 2019 Dylan’s Wings Photography Award and a special prize. Those who attend the show will enjoy great food and refreshments, be able to purchase selected photography, and above all, celebrate Connecticut’s talented Young Photographers.

Each year ASAP! invites students in grades 6-12 to submit photographs for a chance to participate in a large scale public exhibition. This year’s theme is CURRENT MOOD. A panel of judges made up of professional artists/photographers will be jurying the show. Selected photographs will be displayed in an exhibition at Bryan Memorial Town Hall and for the first time ever, the photos will then debut at the Judy Black Gallery in Washington Depot for extended viewing. The top selected photos will also be awarded the 2019 Dylan’s Wings Photography Award.
