Native peoples traditionally recognized that all beings are related and that animals and plants can be our teachers. As part of Connecticut Trails Day Weekend, join Museum Educator and Ecologist Susan Scherf from the Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington, CT for a guided walk focusing on traditional Native uses of plants in the Eastern Woodland environment. Susan will lead this walk to nearby Steep Rock, returning to the museum’s 15th Century Replicated Algonkian Village.
Please wear sturdy footwear and meet at the front of the museum, located at 38 Curtis Road off Route 199.

Admission to the museum is $10 Adults, $8 Seniors, $6 Children and Free for IAIS Members.
