All supplies are included with a $10 Supply Fee payable to the instructor. Explore expressive abstract painting and build your abstract painting skills.
Day 1: Heather will guide you in exercises that explore the principles of value, color, shape, composition and more as it relates to abstract painting.
Day 2: You will explore 1-2 larger paintings 24×18” on mixed media paper using the concepts explored in Day 1.Heather will demonstrate how to use high quality GOLDEN fluid acrylic paint and assorted mark-making tools.Beyond structured exercises, you’ll learn to trust your intuition, cultivate mindfulness, and embrace your artistic voice. Learn to tame the inner critic in a warm and non-judgmental setting.This workshop is suitable for all levels.
About Heather:
Heather has pursued the study of art for more than 30 years. She attended classes at the Art Students League of New York and studied with several master artists. Heather was a digital marketer before becoming a full time artist. She received her B.A. in Communication from Rutgers University. She is a certified GOLDEN Arts Educator and Silver Brush Educator.
