Lake Waramaug Fireworks 2024

Save the date for our 2024 Fireworks on Thursday, July 4th, 2024!

The Lake Waramaug Association takes the lead on many critical initiatives in and around the lake including one of our community’s most appreciated and anticipated events: the annual 4th of July Fireworks display over Lake Waramaug. This tradition has been made possible because of the tremendous support to the LWA that we receive from our members, friends, and neighbors on an annual basis.

This year’s fireworks display will take place on Thursday, July 4th at 9:30 PM and the rain date will be Friday, July 5th. We will also be encouraging participation in the Rim-the-Lake flare lighting tradition, which will begin at 9:00 PM. We will be distributing flares for free (while asking for a donation at the location), so be on the lookout for various tables around the Lake in the weeks leading up to the event.

We sincerely hope that you will help us continue this most wonderful tradition and contribute to the Lake Waramaug Association this year to help cover the costs of our annual fireworks celebration which includes the brilliant fireworks display, donations to our local volunteer fire departments, and permitting costs associated with the fireworks. Any excess above the actual costs is carried over year to year to help defray the costs of the following year’s fireworks.
