Make A joyful Noise

Ages 3 – 5, Washington Primary School,
Washington, CT
Join master percussionist John Marshall and
explore improvisational exercises in traditional
rhythms from across the world. Participants will
use a variety of tuned percussion instruments
including frame drums, Egyptian tambourines
and dumbeks, congas, djembes, and a drum
kit. This workshop culminates in a student
performance where children share their newly
acquired musical skills with family and friends.
