Memorial Day Parade  has been Canceled Due to Weather!

🇺🇸The Reich Award will be presented at 2:30 on Memorial Day inside Town Hall. 🇺🇸

Join us for Washington’s Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27th, 2024 in honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. The parade will include a prayer, roll call, color guard, firing squad, and presentation of the Major Stephen Reich Award for Exceptional Citizenship.

The parade begins at noon at the Washington Green Cemetery.

The Washington Lions Club will again this year be sponsoring a Memorial Day Field of Flags on the lawn in front of Town Hall. These flags will honor servicemen and women who are serving or have served in our armed forces living or decreased. Members of the Lions Club will be in front of the Washington Food Market on Saturday, May 18th and May 2th from 10 AM until noon taking names and branch of those who have served to be placed on a honor roll on the lawn. The cost is $5 per enrollee and the proceeds will support veterans projects in our town.
