Virtual Discussion  on Friday, May 7th @ 7:00pm

As part of the REDress Project installation at our museum, join us for a virtual discussion about the ongoing efforts to raise awareness about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Children, and 2 Spirits (MMIWG2S). Led by Education Director Darlene Kascak, Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, in this program we will discuss the significance of the REDress Project installation, as well as contributing factors to this epidemic and its impact on Native communities. What are the next steps beyond raising awareness? How can you get involved? What are some of the movements in Indian Country seeking to address this serious issue?

In order to have a more intimate conversation, and to provide a safe, welcoming environment, space is limited. Please visit our website (www.iaismuseum.org) to register through Eventbrite. This is a FREE event, but donations are appreciated.
