Celebrate your Right to Read for Banned Books Week at The Hickory Stick Bookshop. Stop in to free a banned book from jail, have your mug shot taken as a rebellious reader, enter to win prizes, and learn more about Banned/Challenged Books that are still facing resistance today across the nation.
On Friday, September 29th, from 5-7pm, The Hickory Stick Bookshop will have a fREADom Party, featuring readings and artwork from local students, themed refreshments, and prizes.
