Event Details

Bugs don’t bug us! In this hands on program geared towards families with children, participants will get to learn more about the creatures that call the river home and what they can tell us about the health of it’s ecosystem. Alongside an IAIS educator, we’ll be travelling down to the Shepaug River* to take a closer look at what’s living in the water.
*Please note: This event requires a half mile hike to the Shepaug River. As we’ll be looking at creatures that live in the river, water shoes are suggested.
All events at IAIS are included in museum admission (unless otherwise stated).
IAIS Members Free; $10 Adults, $8 Seniors; $6 Children
Due to COVID-19, we will be practicing social distancing during all of our outdoor events. If you chose to visit the museum before or after an event, please remember masks are required inside the museum.
