Event Details

How can you tell if a river is healthy? In this hands on program geared towards families with children, participants will get to learn more about the creatures that call the river home and what they can tell us about the health of its ecosystem. Alongside an IAIS educator, we’ll be travelling down to the Shepaug River* to take a closer look at what’s living in the water.

*Please note: This event requires a half mile hike to the Shepaug River. As we’ll be looking at creatures that live in the river, water shoes are suggested.
