Dancer, artist, and creator of the popular and awe-inspiring Soundsuits. These colorful and dramatic costumes are designed by Cave to be worn and performed in, yet they also serve as stand-alone works of sculptural art, rich with detail and intrigue.
Vanessa German is a visual and performance artist based in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Homewood, a community that is the driving force behind German’s powerful performance work, and whose cast-off relics form the language of her copiously embellished sculptures. As a citizen artist, German explores the power of art and love as a transformative force in the dynamic cultural ecosystem of communities and neighborhoods.
Born in Barcelona in 1960, Santi Moix’s work is characterized by accumulation and fragmentation, sensuality and an acute sense of form. He mines literature and Art History for scenes that provide points of departure for his fantastical abstractions.
