Guest Speaker: Probate Judge Domenick Calabrese.  Immediately following the luncheon, he will discuss:

“Avoiding Common Estate Planning Mistakes”

Judge Domenick Calabrese of the Region 22 Probate District and the Waterbury Regional Children’s Probate Court draws on his 16 years on the bench to discuss common problems he’s seen and ways to avoid them.

He will review issues such as locating important documents when they’re needed; why having an estate plan is important; elements of an estate plan; avoiding family conflict; ensuring key fiduciaries will be in place when needed; discussions with loved ones about the estate plan; challenges with beneficiary and survivorship designations; and how often estate plans should be reviewed and updated.
