The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will host a memorial service to remember the fire fighters, emergency medical service personnel, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and civilians who died in the attack on our country on 9/11/01.
In an attempt to honor the people we lost on this the Twentieth Anniversary of this attack, the Washington Fire Department is looking for the names of Relatives, Friends, Coworkers, and Others who perished and have a connection with Washington. Their Names will be read during the ceremony by their loved one or by an Emergency Service Member from Washington.
The service will start at 9:30am on Saturday, September 11, at the Washington Depot Fire House, 109 Bee Brook Rd, Washington, CT. There will be Live Pipes and Drum music during the ceremony. The Ladies Auxiliary will provide a light reception after the service.
