The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens hosts an art exhibit featuring works by AP art students at Shepaug Valley School and The Frederick Gunn School. The exhibit will be on view Friday, April 12 through Sunday, April 28.
Throughout the school year, each student has been exploring a theme in art, and their works reflect their year-long study of that theme.
“The students possess this exuberance of youth that keeps them excited about the possibility that their art brings to them. They all approach their art in different ways but their enthusiasm shines through in all that they do,” says Andrew Richards, Visual Arts Chair at The Frederick Gunn School.
This show will be open for viewing during scheduled events at the park or by appointment.
