Smartphone Photography in the Garden

On Friday September 11, 2020 from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm

Spend a day with noted photographer Thad Kubis at Hollister House Garden and learn how to stop taking pictures and start creating images. The day begins in the barn promptly at 9 a.m. with a review of Smartphone systems and functions including close-up, depth of field, lighting, landscape and image composition. Following the classroom review the group will spend the next several hours in the garden creating images under Thad’s direction.

There will be a lunch break in the barn (please bring a bag lunch. Hollister House Garden will provide snacks, bottled water and soft drinks). After lunch the workshop will focus on editing the images created in the garden.

Garden photography enthusiasts – beginner and those with some experience will benefit from this intensive and enjoyable day! This workshop is limited to 10 participants. Masks are required for all activities in the barn.
