In Person Event
Throughout the Spring, the IAIS Education Department is offering small group craft workshops on Sunday afternoons. Sign up for a time slot with your family and friends. Express your creativity while learning about the world around you and connecting with a culture that has thousands of years of history in the area. Did you know that for centuries, Native American groups have been making birdhouses out of gourds in order to attract nesting birds such as the purple martin? In this extra special Sunday Fun Day craft workshop, join IAIS Educators for a chance to make and decorate a wooden birdhouse of your very own, while learning about nesting birds such as purple martins and bluebirds.
Space is extremely limited and pre-registration is required. Please visit our website at www.iaismuseum.org to reserve a space through Eventbrite. Questions? Call (860) 868-0518 or email [email protected]. Cost of participation, including materials: $50 for Non-Members, $40 for Members.
