Local artist Susan Elliott will be displaying her artwork at Marty’s Cafe from December 1st to December 30th. Her wonderful paintings include some local scenes of Washington and New Preston as well as some more recent paintings of sunrises, sunsets, and oceans. Susan loves to paint scenes of places where she has visited and has been inspired by.
She notes “My inspirations have been my heart and a moment of awe of what I experience.”
Susan has also painted custom scenes for local residents. A few of the paintings that will be showcased include scenes from the people who commissioned her to recreate their memories and experiences, or their home, or a place they visited and felt a connection to.
